whole foods nutrition

Welcome to the wonderful world of food! Food is so much more than a necessary evil, sure food is fuel, but food is also a chance to express, explore, create and connect. I invite you to move beyond the food channel and the fast food lane, let's work together to create a healthy and dynamic relationship with food.
Nutritional Counseling for the Individual or Family

As I approach a nutritional counseling session, I take a holistic view of your current health, immediate needs and long-term goals. As a team, we will create a unique, realistic and individualized plan to help you address your nutrition needs.

Diet Analysis
Diet analysis is based on a 5-day diet diary and is available via email. Analysis of your daily diet will provide you with a clear outline of your nutrient intake along with your deficits. I will offer whole food ideas to supplement those nutrients that are lacking. Use information from your diet analysis to improve your nutrition and create optimal health.
Grocery Store and Farmer's Market Tours
Healthy eating starts with what you put in your basket. Making choices in our local “super” markets can be overwhelming and confusing. Take a guided tour of a local store through the eyes of a whole foods nutritionist. Let me introduce you to a variety of seasonal produce, herbs and spices, legumes, dairy and whole grains.
Pantry Makeover
Need guidance in creating the ultimate pantry? I will help you identify the missing holes in your pantry while removing the less than healthy items, like those containing high fructose corn syrup, dyes and partially hydrogenated fat. Stocking your shelves with whole foods ensures that you will have all that you need on hand for creating healthy meals and snacks.
