Hope Wing, ND

Dr. Hope Wing earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 1984 from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

She moved to Alaska with her husband Rick Abbott, D.C. in November of 1984 and began practicing in Anchorage in February of 1985.  She has been in continuous practice since then, with a focus on women’s health issues, including annual exams and Pap smears.  In 1986, she helped gain licensure for N.D.’s in Alaska.

Dr. Wing is a founding member of the Alaska Association of Naturopathic Physicians and has served as its president.  She is also a founding member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

She completed post-graduate certification courses in homeopathy at the International Foundation for Homeopathy in 1989 and at the New England School of Homeopathy in 1993.

In her practice, Dr. Wing utilizes homeopathy as well as Chinese and Western botanical medicine, nutritional therapy and lifestyle counseling to help her patients regain balance in their lives.
