Shari Lee, MS

Shari is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner.  She has a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of Oregon and graduated from a four year Feldenkrais Professional Training Program in 1996. Shari has been offering Feldenkrais classes, Feldenkrais-in-Action trips & retreats and individual Feldenkrais Functional Integration® sessions in Anchorage since 1996.  In addition, Shari is a Certified Bones for Life® Teacher and Teacher Trainer, having completed her training with Bones for Life Founder and Senior Feldenkrais Trainer, Ruthy Alon in 2005.

Here at the Natural Health Center, Shari offers individual hands-on Feldenkrais Functional Integration sessions, to help patients move more freely with less pain. Using gentle, skillful touch and effortless movements individualized for each patient’s particular needs, Shari guides each person to create easier, more comfortable and effective movement patterns. She specializes in working with people with orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions, sleep, balance and postural challenges, pain, stiffness and many other concerns. Shari also works with people to maintain bone health and to reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis.

In her free time, Shari enjoys travel with a focus on nature, indigenous cultures and scenic beauty. She also enjoys hiking, sea kayaking, river canoeing, skiing, camping and wildlife viewing.
