Functional medicine at Natural Health Center


Meagan McLaughlin is a doctorally prepared family nurse practitioner with a focus on functional medicine. Meagan was born and raised in the great state of Alaska. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) while running track and field competitively as a student-athlete. She received her doctorate of nursing practice at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.

With a focus on functional medicine, Meagan enjoys providing care to individuals of all ages and caring for entire families. She enjoys practicing preventative medicine and wellness, in addition to providing acute and chronic disease treatment and management. 

During her time at UAA, Meagan met her husband, James, who was also a track and field athlete there. Together, they enjoy spending most of their time outdoors with their three small children, and love to camp, fish, hike and ski.
